Its StirMax technology uses a 360-degree automatic paddle that can stir and shred ingredients during cooking. This can be particularly useful for dishes such as risotto, soups, stews, rice, and slow-cooked meals where ingredients normally need occasional attention.
The cooker includes nine pre-programmed settings: StirMax, BraiseMax, Slow Cook, Stew/Soup, Keep Warm, Steam/Boil, Risotto, Sauté, and Rice. Its 7.5-quart capacity provides enough room for larger meals, including up to two 3-pound whole chickens or 6 pounds of pork according to the manufacturer.
Inside is a Midnight Blue ceramic-coated nonstick pot with silicone handles. The ceramic coating is made without PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, or PFOS. For easier cleanup, the pot, lid, and stirring paddle are dishwasher safe.
